Film Studio
This is a really exciting opportunity to get involved in creative film making. Local organisations will be taking on the Project Space, screening their work, giving talks and offering soundtrack, directing and set building workshops (make sure you don’t overlook what’s happening on the wall). Young Women’s Music Project will be creating a new film documenting the changing wall installation, workshops and events whilst also ‘exploring how creativity and self-destruction go hand in hand’: sounds intriguing! And Breathe… (Jayne Wilton)
We are encouraged increasingly to be ‘mindful’ and ‘present’ in our lives but who really has time to just sit and breathe? Wilton uses inventive mark making to explore just that: the simple act of breathing. Perhaps use this exhibition as a place to focus on your breath, relax and allow yourself a meditative few moments. Imagine (Claire Christie Sadler)
Claire Christie Sadler’s unassuming charcoal drawings appear ghostly and abstracted, they invite questioning and reflection, some carry an air of sadness about them. Based on the work of the imagination they seem to say ‘anything is possible, nothing is certain, there is no answer and you can’t understand’. I urge you to see them for yourself. Find out more

Society of Wood Engravers 78th Annual Exhibition
