Arts at the Old Fire Station is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors. We believe you have the right to privacy on the web. This policy sets out how we will treat your personal information.

2. Do we use cookies?
The Arts at the Old Fire Station website uses “cookies” to help personalise your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of the website. Google will store this information. Personal data submitted on this website will be used for the purposes specified in this privacy policy or in relevant parts of the website.

We will not sell, rent or share your personal data with third party organisations.

4. Donations
All our one off website financial transactions are handled through our payment services provider, Stripe. You should only provide your personal information to Stripe after reviewing the Stripe privacy policy (available here). We will share information with Stripe only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing payments you make via our website. We do not store your financial or credit card details.
We have a refund policy in case you make a donation in error. If you contact us within 7 days of making the donation we will return it to you within 40 days without charge.

5. Other disclosures
In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified elsewhere in this privacy policy, we will disclose information about you only when required to do so by law.

6. Security of your personal data
We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. You are responsible for keeping your user details confidential.

7. Policy amendments
We may update this privacy policy from time-to-time by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes. We may also notify you of changes to our privacy policy by email.

8. Your rights

The website contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third party websites.

10. Unsubscribing
You may unsubscribe from our mailing lists at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email we send.

We hold your data with a view to providing ticketing, direct marketing and sales services to you and to manage the business relationship. In the event that the business relationship ceases we confirm that we will delete personal data in accordance with our internal data retention policies and our legal obligations.

Any changes we make to our Cookie & Privacy Policy in future will be posted on this page. We encourage you to check the date of this policy whenever you visit our website for any updates or changes.

 

Direct marketing data policy

What information do we collect?

If you fill out the Mailchimp sign-up form, we will collect all the information you input there. You can change your preferences, or unsubscribe, at any time.

If you sign up for the mailing list via the box office, Ticketsolve will also record which show you booked for and share this information with Mailchimp.

How will we use your personal data?

Personal data inputted to Mailchimp (or shared with Mailchimp via Ticketsolve, with your permission) may be used to:

1. Send you regular marketing communications

2. Notify you about the return of acts you have previously booked for

3. Notify you of shows which you may be interested in, based on previous booking activity

4. Notify you of fundraising opportunities, if you have selected to receive this information

5. Notify you of ways in which you can support artists, if you have selected to receive this information

6. Notify you of volunteering opportunities, if you have selected to receive this information

7. Notify you of offers from the Bar, Shop and Gallery, if you have selected to receive this information

We will not sell, rent or share your personal data with third party organisations.

Other uses

If you have booked to see a show and the same company or artist returns to the Old Fire Station, we may send you an email to let you know. We will not subscribe you to any mailing lists unless you opt-in – this is a one-off communication.

Your rights

You have the right to unsubscribe from Mailchimp at any time. You have the right to change your preferences so that we can only contact you about items you are interested in. You can change your preferences or unsubscribe by clicking the link in the footer of any e-mail you receive.
