Join Theatre Director Lizzy McBain to explore a different critically acclaimed script each term through games, exercises, devising and acting in front of class peers.
Each week will be a standalone session focusing in on a short section of the script to explore it in depth through character development and rehearsal techniques. You do not need to attend each week as each session is accessible and designed to be able to get immediately stuck in (although attending regularly gives a greater understanding of the whole script). Booking in advance is highly recommended as these sessions are popular and places are limited.
Please note: these sessions take place in the Loft, which does not have step-free access.
How to book
Theatre Workshops happen every term in 5 or 6 week blocks. Each term we pick a different published script to explore and try out different acting techniques. You are welcome to come for a one-off to try it out. We encourage people to do the full term if they are able. If sessions are fully booked, it is worth contacting Box Office to put your name on a waiting list as places do become available
