In April 2023, Green Arts Oxfordshire Network held 3 events as part of Marmalade festival, bringing together Oxfordshire’s cultural organisations, artists and anybody wanting to respond creatively to the climate crisis.

In a session called ‘Climate Justice: The Story of Our Time’, they explored how creatives can work with climate experts to tell the most compelling stories of our time, and create a better world in the process.

This session was just the start of a much longer, ongoing conversation about how we communicate and advocate for Climate Justice in Oxfordshire. Participants heard from creatives leading change through projects locally and globally, then responded through drawing, writing and collage, with artist Julia Utreras. Julia turned these into a series of posters that are on display, accompanied by a zine that is free to take away.
