Founded in 2010, Troika Theatre draws on the talents of local Oxford amateur and professional actors and theatremakers committed to producing entertaining and engaging theatre. Our focus is bringing clarity to texts without compromising the simple elements of storytelling. In addition to staging British classics for international students in the UK and abroad (including from Italy, Russia and Mexico), Troika Theatre has devised workshops for schools working with students to get to the heart of each story.
“Troika should be congratulated once again on creating such a brilliant piece of theatre.” Daily Info, Oxford
Four of our productions have been staged at the OFS: Rope (2013), Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime (2014), Black Comedy (2015) and Kindertransport (2017).
In 2023, we became supported artists of Offbeat Festival. Their seed funding allowed us to produce our latest production Troika: Recollections, a documentary short involving professional and amateur actors aged 30 to 85, all of whom live or have lived in Oxfordshire and have been part of a Troika Theatre production.
