Session outline

Four creative writing sessions focused on inquiry into the interdependent relationships we hold with place, memory and ritual. The effect these connections have on shaping our cultures and identities.

Writing materials will be provided, participants are also welcome to bring laptops, phones, tablets or other means to write with if they wish.

Session 1: Place
How does place play a part in who we are as individuals?

Session 2: Memory
How are our memories connected with place? What role does memory play in our identity?

Session 3: Ritual
What are the rituals we associate with place? How are these rituals connected with memory?

Session 4: Finalise
Give your work a final polish in preparation for display and performance.
