Award-winning artist Donna Mann brings her first exhibition since the 2020 lockdown – a body of work exploring the human animal, through the lens of carbon evolution.

Mann incorporates a wide range of materials to create an explorative, experimental installation which includes her use of smoke as a drawing medium, and her signature moth swarms. The paper moths evolve into wax, porcelain and hand-embroidered felt.

The carbon of the stars became life on earth. Mann’s installation traces an exploration of healing, friendship and transformation.

Carbon love.

From dark matter to light.
