We have been fantastically busy over the last few weeks with Oxford Fringe and you’d think that following it, things would start to get calmer. How wrong! Our Spring to Summer season is now in full swing and next up, on the 15th June at 7.30pm, we have The New Foxtrot Serenaders.
A full seven piece band, The New Foxtrot Serenaders play ragtime, jazz, charlestons and all other kinds of music from the 1920’s, 30’s 40’s and 50’s. For their trip here to Oxford, the theme is ‘Strictly Gershwin’ so look forward to a night of best loved songs including “I’ve Got Rhythm”, “They Can’t Take That Away From Me” and “Nice Work If You Can Get It”. Expect to be dancing, tapping your toes, and singing the night away.
At the moment, everyone seems to be getting in to 1920’s swing with the release of The Great Gatsby at the cinema. So whether you’re jumping 1920’s bandwagon of the moment or you’ve always been a fan, there’s something to tempt…
Tickets are £12, concessions £10 and are available online or in the Shop at the Old Fire Station.
