Here at the Old Fire Station we are busy prepping for our new exhibitions in our Shop and Gallery spaces. HUE, an exhibition exploring colour in its various guises will be taking over the Gallery from Friday 30th January until 28 February, whilst Keep Looking: New Photographs is showing in our Shop.

We’ve taken a few preview shots of the installation process to give you a sneak peek- come along to the Private View on Friday 30th January to see the full picture!

HUE features two of OFS’s own Studio Artists, Jack Eden and Cath Watson, along with Nottingham-based Nick Wood. Featuring a mixture of different mediums, including sculpture, textiles and illustration, the exhibition shows a collaborative exploration of the theme of colour.

Along with the show in the Gallery, we are also holding local photographer Robert Oliver’s first photographic exhibition- a collection capturing the beautiful in the everyday, characterised by a bold use of colour and composition. We are also selling a selection of Robert’s prints in the Shop if you fancy taking a piece of the show home with you.
