Our new Making Space programme is well underway here at the Old Fire Station with two brand new exhibitions now up in our Shop and Gallery. Re-Fashioned brings together four UK artists in our Gallery space for a show all about garments, textiles and the memories they hold for us. It’s a fantastic Gallery exhibition which makes great use of the space; Lucy Brown’s conceptual fabric sculpture is suspended from the ceiling using a system of wires whilst other framed work is displayed at various heights on the walls.

To accompany the main Gallery exhibition, we also have local ethical fashion designer Feng Ho showcasing her new spring/summer collection. Returning to her work after recently becoming a mother, Feng’s designs have become more simple and streamlined, made using new printed fabric that Feng herself designed. We also have an accompanying window from City of Oxford College Fashion and Clothing students, showcasing designs inspired by Feng’s work.
