At the Old Fire Station, we believe the arts play a vital role in creating social impact helping people navigate uncertain times, connect with others, and share their stories.

Yet, in times of crisis, the arts are often sidelined, and creative opportunities become even more scarce for those with fewer resources. We believe art is for everyone and that the stories we tell, and who gets to tell them, truly matter.

We are thrilled to share we have been granted £7,500 in match funding by the New Philanthropy for Arts & Culture network. This means that every donation made from 18th until the 25th March 2025 will be doubled, allowing us to expand our outreach and core activities this year.

These are challenging times for everyone, and we understand that you may have other causes close to your heart. But if you’re able, please consider supporting the arts in your community, too. The arts help us make sense of a complex world, strengthen communities, and protect our collective wellbeing.
