My Practice Depends On Walking Vast Lengths Of The UK, Writing And Painting Poems On Maps, Based On The Amazing Things People From Different (Often Forgotten) Communities Say To Me. I Navigate An Area With An OS Map Which, Economically, Becomes My Canvas, And I Use Whatever Paint, Ink, Mud Or Texture Is To Hand To Create Each Piece. The Result Is A Picture Bursting With Life And Colour Reporting From The Coleface On One Of The The Most Difficult Times In Recent History. I Won “Best Artist” At The Other Art Fair 2019, Winning A Mentorship With Kate Bryan And My Work Being Used In The Soho House Collection. Messums Gallery Offered Me An Exhibition In January, Which Made The Metro And The Oxford Times.
