Nathan & Ida – Nathan Peter Grassi and Ida Berglöw Kenneway – are an Oxford based comedy duo who have been collaborating in comedy and theatre for over 10 years. Using their particular brand of irreverent storytelling, outrageous characters, physicality and chemistry, they create comedy narratives to bring joy to their audiences, often based on the stories of real people from all around the world.

Their award-winning show Nathan & Ida’s Hot Dog Stand, which first debuted at Arts at the Old Fire Station (Offbeat 2017), and their five star show Tropez!, have been touring to festivals and venues around the UK and Europe. Together they have also performed in, produced and directed traditional theatre (both drama and comedy), have been roving entertainers at public events, re-imagined existing texts using their style of physical comedy, delivered theatre, comedy and circus workshops for people of all ages, and undertaken audio and filmed work.

They are both members of The Dead Secrets: adventurers in award-winning sketch and improvised comedy, who have toured around the UK, and who perform their show Hickory Dickory Murder monthly at Arts at the OFS. Additionally, Australian-born Nathan is a co-founder of Troika Theatre: a theatre company committed to producing vibrant theatre, focussing on modern classic texts. Nathan trained in physical theatre, and has a background in cabaret and clowning. Originally from Sweden Ida is the Creative Director of actREAL, which uses theatre to engage community groups with academic research.

Nathan & Ida are huge fans of Arts at the OFS and the work they do in and with the community.
