Nicola is a British artist based in Oxford, practising in both drawing and ceramics. She graduated with a first class degree in Fine Art Painting from Wimbledon College of Art, where she first started making intricately detailed work inspired by the intriguing and beautiful forms of coral reefs.

Influenced by a love of marine environments and the wildlife they contain, her work explores ways to draw attention to the declining health of our oceans. Driven by the findings of conservation organisations and the research of marine scientists, her work inspires stronger connections to our seas and a greater sense of urgency in protecting them.
