Our popular Monday classes are back, and we’re mixing it up with a new format! Our Musical Theatre Actor classes now focus on practical exercises to strengthen your acting through both scene and song.
Expect an active, collaborative class with shared techniques you can apply individually, alongside ensemble work and a more focused, supported exploration of your own repertoire.
Our classes will be focused on developing and honing your skills through tried and tested acting exercises as a class, with some ensemble repertoire work each week, whilst retaining the opportunity to explore the techniques worked on in front of, and with, your peers.
About Us:
We’re Hannah and George – musical theatre performers, facilitators, and creatives based in Oxfordshire.
We set up Off Book Collective because we wanted to create a space for people who love musical theatre and want to keep it in their lives in a meaningful way, without the commitment that some amateur shows require.
Maybe you did shows at uni or school and miss the buzz. Maybe you’ve had kids or a career
change and lost confidence. Maybe you’re a professional looking for a place to play.
We offer high-quality, low-pressure musical theatre workshops that put creativity, confidence,
and community centre stage. There’s a definite emphasis on acting through song, but we also
work on character development, vocal technique, or full ensemble harmony work. Our
sessions are designed to spark joy and unlock your creative voice.
We also have big plans for immersive performances, creative retreats, and new ways of
putting musical theatre on the map for adults who want to reconnect with their love of the
arts.
