Over the past year, Sassify Zine, with support from Well Together, has run a series of community workshops designed to uplift and empower LGBTQ+ individuals through creativity. One of the highlights was a collage workshop led by Hayley Stevenson. Using a kid’s instant camera and an assortment of fashion magazines, participants were invited to reimagine themselves — no limits, no gender norms, just pure expression. The only rule? Create your most amazing self. Each person started with a photo of their own face, then collaged an outfit that felt bold, brilliant, and uniquely “them.” The results were joyful, defiant, glamorous, and above all — beautiful.
